Title: 250 yd line capacity but what size line?

So Wompus Cat redid my Dad's 112.  It says 250 yard line capacity but what size line are they talking about?  Thanks Folks!

Back in the Day they used that old Black Linnen type line and it was about the size of 40 pound mono today. I have a chart on this somewhere I will try and find .
