From the 1930's
Traded a Restored Penn NICE 209 for these 2 old Turds
This is one of two 101 250 yd. Free Spool Take - A - Part Nickel Silver Star Drag and are marked on side plate with a I and a II on the other Reel .
Pretty cool inside as the Sleeve has a Key-way in it to accomadate a key to hold the Spacer in place Plus the Spacer is Widened at the bottom working as a Drag plate !

Neat Reel .The other one is next and I noticed the inside of the Left side plate is cut out different in. that there is a deeper recess where the spool flange fits . I was able to put some Early Penn Carbon/ Tex drags in it to replace the ol paper drags.
