Got this in a bunch of Reels off the Bay and noticed a few odd things as compared to other older Spin Casters.
Left /Right Retrieve ,Top Drag Adjuster and a few other things .
This Wire actually fits around the center of the spool and is tightened down by the knob on top of the reel . Quite a different approach from conventional thinking where the lever moves a plate with discs on it to tension against the bottom of the spool as in Johnson's and many other Reels,.
Wire fits around inside of groove
Has option to place spool on for left or right hand cast
Side Plate looks like most all the other Reels of this type EXCEPT it is irregular in shape opposed to most being squared off and some are even recessed.
