The 2023 ORCA National Convention is in September 2023 in Bolton Landing, NY. The venue is Blue Water Manor on beautiful Lake George. You will need to be an ORCA member to attend, which comes with 6 issues a year of The Reel News magazine and access to the digital library containing over 2,300 catalogs and schematics. This year's convention will be held Monday through Thursday. On Monday, many attendees will be traveling to Manchester, VT for a group tour of the American Museum of Fly Fishing (next door to Orvis' Flagship store). See some of the other activities are shown on the attached pdf Preliminary Schedule. We anticipate 50-60+ attendees with many bringing their collections to display. New York was an area where many of America's first reels were developed and manufactured, so we should see some great early reels at the show. I am also attaching a pdf Registration Form, but registration is fast and easy to do online at the ORCA website. The host venue rooms are limited and will fill up, but there are other lodges and cabins nearby owned by the Blue Water Manor folks.
