This Reel is well built EXCEPT for the thin plastic side plates but they are completely encased by the Nice Stainless Steel Covers and I guess they were counting on this to Beef up the structure .
These are MADE IN JAPAN and the Similarities to PENN 112H GUTS is unmistakably DAMN CLOSE and may have been a patent infringement OR a project with PENN to make them under GARCIA name in Japan .
Either way I don't think they made them very long . They have Several different sizes in this GK series and some have Level Winds ......more later
