When I got the package my Jaw Dropped as it looked like it had been used for Baseball Practice but she was OK except for a Break Through in the Top of the Box

Here is what I got on the porch
Great Care in the Post Office Handling as you can see
Any way the Reason the Reel would not Free Spool an the Drag was messed up is that since the Reel was NEW OLD STOCK
the Factory Grease had turned to Gum or Worse and just locked up all the Sprigenwerkens !!!!
It was so Gummed up the A/R would not engage.
The Drag Plates were froze together with the old deteriorated Grease and some of it was like Chalk or Glue and was difficult to Remove
This plate was Chalky with old Grease and took a bit of elbow grease to clean it up
